The Operational Analysis Award recognizes the most consequential analytical effort that directly impacted planning, training, exercising, or mission execution by operational commanders. It is awarded to Department of the Army analysts, technicians, scientists, or groups assigned to operational headquarters; brigade, division, or corps staffs; or Army service component commands.
