Achievements
- Dedicated 37 years of selfless service focused on operations research
- Mentored numerous personnel throughout the Army
- Recognized as the “Excel Guru” within CAA
- Delivered analysis that significantly influenced Army system designs, fielding, and operational decisions
- Key contributor to the development of the Attrition Calibration (ATCAL) program, establishing a methodology still relied upon for system performance estimation
- Served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Combat Sample Generator (COSAGE) model, identifying and correcting a critical flaw in UAV modeling
- Instrumental in verifying and validating the Joint Integrated Contingency Model (JICM) as the Army’s primary campaign modeling tool
- Developed the “John Warren Tool” (JWT) for assessing COSAGE boards for JICM—still in use today
- Enabled reverse engineering of data to update Expected Kill (EK) values for air-to-ground munitions in JICM
